Visitor Badge System
In an effort to provide a higher level of security to patients and staff, Raulerson Hospital has initiated a photo identification badging system for hospital visitors. Upon entering the hospital lobby, visitors will present their photo identification (usually a driver’s license) and take a quick photo. Then they will receive a visitor badge sticker to wear, featuring their name, date, destination and photo. Visitor badges are valid for the entire day. Visitors coming to the facility multiple times throughout a day do not need to stop at the lobby once they have their badge for the day. If a visitor returns to the hospital on a subsequent day, they do not need to pose for a new picture. They will simply need to have their photo identification scanned and then their previous visitor badge credentials will be pulled up for quick badge printing. Children under the age of 16 will receive a photo id badge associated with the adult accompanying them.
